I bought a brand new condo that needs to be filled from corner to corner. These two wonderful ladies did my living room and master bedroom... with more to come. It was so easy to work with them, especially around my busy work schedule! I got out the military in January, and it’s been a whirlwind of crazy since. These ladies were a calm to my storm. I always used to think having a decorator meant you had to be beyond rich but it wasn’t so, it’s for regular working people like me. They worked with my budget and gave me more than I expected, I wanted glam they gave me that. I wanted pretty they gave me that. I wanted comfortable, beautiful, chic ... they gave me that! I love my house so much I will continue to work with them to finish the rest of my house. No additional design boards even needed, I told Monica my ideas & to just slay away! ( because I have more than enough faith in their taste and abilities). It is definitely worth working with them to save you the heartache and headache of having to do everything yourself while juggling work & personal life, to hiring contractors, & finding the perfect pieces and accents without going crazy. It’s also great because you get to come out your comfort zone and do things you probably would never think of yourself. They’re awesome!!!!!

My husband and I had such a wonderful experience working with both Monica and Kim.  From the very beginning they were professional, understood our vision, and were easy to get in touch with.

The first thing she asked me to do was fill out a questionnaire so she could be better prepared to help create the best vision for my sunroom. It worked out so well because it helped me to organize my thoughts and good for Monica, as she put it, to use our time most efficiently.

When Monica arrived at my home we did a walk through in my sunroom and we talked about all the things I wanted to accomplish to help me finalize decisions I've been struggling with. It was especially nice that we could refer back to the questionnaire which gave Monica insight into all the qualities I wanted to achieve.

She was able to help narrow down my style and gave me ideas which provided excellent examples and sources for the art, furniture and decor. Even when I couldn't put into words exactly what I was trying to explain about the room she was able to draw out of me what I couldn't quite articulate.

She was patient and has the ability to listen well and then apply that to the design of the room. Monica even had a way to add ideas that you hadn't thought of but wanted to do. In a few weeks she had my design board ready for my inspection and it was excellent! What makes Monica so unique is her ability to see the whole picture and tend to the details flawlessly. She created the room to be exciting, stylish and comfortable all at the same time which was the main thing I was looking for.

I was so impressed with her creativity and her wonderful eye for color and space. She came up with fresh new inspiring ideas which added some enhancement and I was blown away when she opened up my sunroom with French doors leading to an outdoor patio/kitchen under a pergola.

She didn't miss a beat!

"For years I have tried to plan out a redecorating of our home.

 

For years I have gathered objects I knew I wanted in my house, but didn't know where to put them, so they stayed in piles behind doors or in closets. I knew this project needed to be done, and that project needed to be done (walls needed painting, counters needed replacing, etc) but I couldn't quite figure out how to do it so everything worked well together.

 

Piecemeal projects just were not working.

 

I had to admit that I just was NOT good at decorating our home; queen of the Pinterest boards, yes, but putting that all together into a plan? No. Being 58 years old, I was becoming increasingly frustrated that my home still was not what I wanted it to be.

 

Hire designers? Us?! What?! It still sounds surreal to me. We are just your average, ordinary, every day family.

 

Monica kept telling me that in the end, they could actually SAVE us money. We decided to just listen. Kim and Monica came over, and spent a good deal of time talking to us to find out what we liked about our home and what we didn't, what we would like to see, what style we liked.

 

They took that information, along with a budget that WE gave THEM, and put together a design board, presenting it to us and giving us the chance to yay or nay what they had come up with. The TIME alone this saved! Ladies, you know how long it takes to "shop" around and find all of those 'just right' elements! Hours upon hours I would spend looking at pictures on Houzz or Pinterest, trying to come up with elements of a plan, then researching where to buy those elements for the cheapest price. THEY did all of that.

 

They even traveled to places I wouldn't consider 'local' just to find the best price so that we could get the most for our money! WHAT?!?!

 

They contacted subcontractors, several so they were sure to get the best price, and met them at our house so they could get the estimates. But not just any sub would do - they were particular about who they used; and let me tell you, the ones they DID use were phenomenal!

 

Excellent workmanship! (And by the way, did you pick up on that time savings for us? THEY found and met the contractors to get the estimates. Once they chose a contractor, they negotiated down his price (remember Monica said they would SAVE us money?!). And then, once it was time for the work to be done? THEY met the contractor at our house, STAYED with them while they were here, and made sure everything was done to their high standards. My husband and I? We missed NO work during this process!

 

The attention they paid to detail was phenomenal. What would go with what, what detail would add that extra oomph. We told them we wanted comfort, we wanted a place where people feel at home, and they made sure we got that without sacrificing design.

 

You don't need to have them do the whole shebang like we did (although I highly recommend it!); they are happy to just consult with you, to put together a design and then you can put it into action on your own.

 

I will tell you ( from an average gal who never in a million years thought she would be the client of a designer) - call them. Kim and Monica are simply fantastic. They LISTEN. They give you what YOU want, within your budget, with the benefit of their expertise.

 

They make it happen, when people like me are more apt to procrastinate.

 

They stay calm and positive when dealing with not-so-easy people like myself. (I was a basket case!) They go WAY further than the "extra mile". You will never find people, a business that will work harder for you. You will never find a business that cares more about you, the client.

 

They are, quite simply, amazing; and awesome at what they do.

 

I cannot wait for them to help me with our next project!"
